LIFE SAVING
The syllabus of the lifesaving competition is being developed in partnership with the Royal Life Saving Society of NZ.

There will be updated lifesaving competition information in later versions of this document.
Below is the syllabus from the 25th National Scout Regatta. This syllabus is being used to develop the current competition syllabus.
The lifesaving competition comprises of two parts:

  • A Two Person Test                            30%
  • A Team First Aid Test                        70%

Team test

The Team test will be a first Aid scenario using your whole team in a simulated exercise based on either a camping and / or boating incident.
