| Rowing Rowing races have always generated huge spectator support as the crews come down the course towards the finish line. The crew that works as a team and shows the best rowing technique will always out perform crews with poorly trained members. The rowing races are held in cutters on a course between 750 and 1500m long. The course lanes will be laid out with marker buoys. The race format is a series of heats with each accruing points towards the three rowing trophies. At the end of the heats series, the top eight crews in each age grade will have a finals heat held on the last day of rowing.
